Happiness. A new psychiatric disorder?

This is one of the funniest papers I've read. Bentall's a total genius.
He turns the idea of diagnosis around. He also notes the closeness
between happiness and hypomania.

The paper's worth a read just to understand how easily things can be
pathologised. Understanding the distress continumm of mental health as
depression or happiness isn't really valid but it's a common mistake. In
truth, or at least in my perception, there's depression and there's
mania at either end of the distress continuum of mental health.
Happiness may lie on another scale and be thought of differently to the
distress continuum.

About Me

We It comes in part from an appreciation that no one can truly sign their own work. Everything is many influences coming together to the one moment where a work exists. The other is a begrudging acceptance that my work was never my own. There is another consciousness or non-corporeal entity that helps and harms me in everything I do. I am not I because of this force or entity. I am "we"
