A homosexual who considers their homosexuality a mental illness is mentally ill in the UK but not in the US

Japes aside it's actually a thorny issue. Some people don't want to be
homosexual. Is the ethical therapist the one who listens to them and
tries to change their sexuality or the one who tries to make them accept it.
