Docile?

Is that the fate of humanity?

Given psychiatry's methods and goals the ansswer is an emphatic yes. This is, after all, the goal of psychiatry and current mental health thinking.

Create automotons. Docile, malleable workers who can withstand injustice and work continuously. Reliably. Mechanically.

How much of mental health is directed towards creating the automoton, the perfect human machine ready for work? A necessity of the post-industrial age formed as an illness.

How clever. Not sure hanlon or orwell is better to cite. Foucault. Well it seems fuck all people have heard of him.

So docile and an automoton. What is mental health treatment?
