It is relevant in modern times. Sadly. The dominant dogma focuses on money and markets seem to be mportant.
Is this right? Of course not. Many dream of more. They're less successful than those who adhere to or promote the dogma and tradition.
A person who doesn't think of money and markets is mad. Or an idealist. A thinker and dreamer. A loser. Many labels apply.
The construct of reality exists though and this makes economics a necessity. A sad one.
Here's what I mean. Take the One Laptop Per Child project. This was to be a transcendental philanthropic leap.
Fuck it. Can't be arsed with this one either.
