Suicide is not a rights issue

I think I've thought this before. Suicide is too important to be governed by laws but I know this idealism in the face of the clear and present evil will fail to be effective.

Of course self death is a right but it is so much more. Frankly the right should be freedom from suicidal ideation but, again, this ideal will undoubtedly wilt against the entrenched evil.

People have no hearts. Suicide is one consequence. That the torture of suicide can't be legally ended is another.
