Addicts are self treating. Their addiction, no matter how much it is perceived as destructive, helps salve deep seated emotional wounds.
Illegal drugs offer untapped therapeutic benefits which could be harnessed were it not for drug prejudice and the psychiatric mainstream power structure which disempowers individual subjective experience and individual life choices. Psychiatrists don't even try the drugs they peddle but laud their drug prejudice over people who choose better medication for themselves.
Highs heal and the sooner people get this idea the sooner a lot more people could be helped to get better or help themselves.
