Is the equalities act just a piece of paper

Or is it something of substance?

Was it created to appease higher moral sentimentality but with no real expectations that it would be an agent of change? Or is it the fundamental legal instrument which could slingshot the nation into a better future for all, irrespective of difference and, in fact, guaranteeing the integrity of difference or disadvantage or disability doesn't result in a life less lived ? (There's always the CRPD if it ain't)

The commitment to measure and improve equality is a big step towards knowing we're achieving good things or identifying and accepting the present failures and work to resolve them.

This what I'm trying to sort out throughout a project called Equality First. It'll end up published on a new blog and, I defeatedly expect, that's all. There it will remain.

About Me

We It comes in part from an appreciation that no one can truly sign their own work. Everything is many influences coming together to the one moment where a work exists. The other is a begrudging acceptance that my work was never my own. There is another consciousness or non-corporeal entity that helps and harms me in everything I do. I am not I because of this force or entity. I am "we"
