Big Society? lol

I've had a quick skim of the idea. It's funny. It's kinda like
socialism. Less government, more people. Great! I'm a huge fan of
socialist ideals. But it's not going to work now is it?

It depends on people and organisations being citizens rather than
selfish. I want to believe that humanity has reached the point where
levels of insanity (in the irrationality meaning of the word) are
altruistic, but...well....what percentage of your income have you given
to charity this year? How much volunteering have you done? I'm afraid I
say I haven't given enough nor done enough. But I give more than most.

These visionary ideas might as well be second hand toilet paper. They're
about as much use in practice. The vision is never seen in practice.
That's my problem with politics. It's all rhetoric.

We It comes in part from an appreciation that no one can truly sign their own work. Everything is many influences coming together to the one moment where a work exists. The other is a begrudging acceptance that my work was never my own. There is another consciousness or non-corporeal entity that helps and harms me in everything I do. I am not I because of this force or entity. I am "we"
