Useful snip from Andrew Langsley on web chat about Information Revolution

"
The Info Strategy is about improving flow of info to clinical staff and
patients. We are focusing on outcomes, processes that are more evidence
based. We are getting the data at the time patients are being looked
after. We reduce costs because we only need to get the data once, not
repeatedly. This also saves everyone time. By focusing on where we know
there's a clear potential benefit e.g. in relation to allergies, I hope
patients will consent to take part, then our redesign of the IT system
will allow everyone to talk to each other.

The other is a begrudging acceptance that my work was never my own. There is another consciousness or non-corporeal entity that helps and harms me in everything I do. I am not I because of this force or entity. I am "we"
