No true Scotsman could survive psychosis unmedicated and still go to work

The sentence above is about me. Am I a schizophrenic because I went
through the experience or not because no true schizophrenic could
survive the experience without the occupational and social dysfunction.
I did go through that to a degree however I was in the right environment
and right social culture to survive. Or am I the exception to the rule?
