The medico-legal framework and the pseudoscience of psychiatry...

...are irrelevant. It's just down to what a psychiatrist decides. They
apply the label, they use the systems to apply their power on a person
and they steal free will from a person.

I wonder how the religious organisations would feel if they knew what
the pseudoscience of mental health and the medico-legal framework do to
their flock/members? It steals religious experiences away from the
religious or non-religious, and takes so much more away in the process.

Informed consent is the only way and when it can't be gotten then
informed consent is the only way forward to create an ethical system
which isn't just subjugating people and a form of socio-political
control over the powerless. The power over them is what psychiatrists
have. No checks. No balances. No protections for the innocent. But
there's no need for protections...not when the subjugated are called
mental health patients and their oppressors are called doctors.

A short lesson in the historical ills of psychiatry is enough to
elucidate that this oppression can not continue. Everyone of of those
ills which people can easily see as wrong now was, in the time they
happened, considered an acceptable thing to do to a mentally ill person.

For example the mass slaughter of the elderly when antipsychotics were
unnecessarily used upon them in the community. The suppression of
behaviour which lead to many, many deaths.

What the fuck?! How many more need to die? I'm happy to be the next one.

About Me

We It comes in part from an appreciation that no one can truly sign their own work. Everything is many influences coming together to the one moment where a work exists. The other is a begrudging acceptance that my work was never my own. There is another consciousness or non-corporeal entity that helps and harms me in everything I do. I am not I because of this force or entity. I am "we"
