There's a lot of things I take from this article. It's well worth a read
if you're interested in what could happen in the UK. Britain and the UK
are similar cultures - moreso than the UK shares similarities with
European countries. Parents with poor parenting skills may take the
option to take their toddlers to see the doctor if they find a child
difficult to deal with. At the moment I hope most doctors in the UK
would say, "that's called being a kid" but clearly the doctors in
America don't feel that.
http://www.criticalthinkrx.org was started with the funds of a court
case against the pharmaceutical companies in the US. It's a professional
development course on the use (or misuse) or medication in children.
