Lazy kids become lazy adults. Bollocks.

Or angry kids become angry adults. Bollocks.

Smart kids grow up to be doctors. Bollocks.

Some lazy kids may, perhaps, continue to be lazy but others change. No
bollocks.

Going through the period of laziness or excessive anger or whatever
these may be important for their development to adulthood and
post-adulthood.

What many doctors will tell parents is different. Laziness is an illness
and a form of unhappiness now called depression. Childhood anger can
have lots of labels.

And smart kids don't always grow up to be doctors.
