The most famous song mentioning suicide

I'd hoped that Shenidamn had something to say about this song. Is it positive, negative or objective. Does it feel right?

It was a theme to one of the most popular war comedies of all time.

I'd be really interested to know what the 1 in 6 who have experience of thinking about suicidie at some point in their life thought of this song
