The greatest photograph ever

It's the story of the photo and the photographer as much as the image.

It inspired me many years ago and it keeps inspiring me every time I see
that image.

I know it's a pretty miserable image to be inspired by and a tragic
story. It was an image that made a difference. I think there is no
higher quality of art, photography and most definitely of
photojournalism. The very raison d'etre of photojournalism is beyond
capturing a moment. It is to deliver images like this that change people
and change society.
