An unnamed theory

Someone smarter than me has already come up with this. Don't know who they are but they probably said it better and with less swearing or references to salted chocolate culinary delights. Yes. The chocolate salty balls thing was an odd reference.

Difference of biology is not an illness. Otherwise I would be ill because I was not white. Or black. Or gay.

Difference in people, in genuine human types, is called illness by a system which only understands bad and only sees problems with social roots as problems of individuals.

The methods of psychiatry are pseudoscience but very persuasive. Billions is spent on research showing different neurological human types. The types are only identified because the system looks at the negative. This makes sense because medicine itself rarely considers positive outcomes. Everything is things with prognosis and in mental health prognosis carries an implicit negative quality.

So imagine if there were different types of human beings. Imagine that in certain time periods some of these types would be considered too different or perhaps unwanted outright. Imagine that social conditioning and social systems which didn't understand that human beings can be different, for example the conceptual systems which defined black people as sub human and thereby allowed their enslavement, would call difference an illness.

Imagine if behavioural health was honest as social control and the health thing was really, in any scientific terms, a load of bollocks.

What if mental health was really supressing the expression of phenotypes temporarily adjudged as abhorrent using the paradigm of medical illness falsely. But taking all the stuff of the paradigm of medicine an illness, from the privilege of disability to the curse of labelled subhumanity.

Change the individual or heal the damage wrought on human progress as a result of psychiatry's inception? My theory is we should work towards the latter.

Foucault or someone like that. They came up with this. I must have read it somewhere.

So many others have explained it better. It isn't an illness. It is a problem whereby different types of people do less well because automotons don't accept difference.

Social prejudice doesn't make individuals ill or abnormal. Or shouldn't any way. In practice it does. That's all.

They take our liberty. Our very freedom. They suppress the potential of our existence to be a like a robot. A good worker bee for the modern post-industrial age factory. They do this with harmful drugs. They do it out of compassion. And get away with killing thousands because of it. This is the big problem with the application of the paradigm of medicine. No oversight. No accountability. Mass murder still continues because the use of the drugs in the community wasn't banned.

People are slaughtered for being different types because they call that an illness. They even attempt to apply the fucking biopsychosocial model.

Fuck....maybne it's Ingel who came up with what I'm chatting about. How do we become? Biopsychosocial.

Who do we have a human right to be?

About Me

We It comes in part from an appreciation that no one can truly sign their own work. Everything is many influences coming together to the one moment where a work exists. The other is a begrudging acceptance that my work was never my own. There is another consciousness or non-corporeal entity that helps and harms me in everything I do. I am not I because of this force or entity. I am "we"
